MEET THE ARTIST
My name is Sharon and I am so happy you are here! I am an artist and surface pattern designer based in Spruce Grove, Alberta Canada.
My passion for pattern designing stemmed shortly after my own home-based textile business, Prairie Love Knits was born in 2016. Along the way I discovered how fulfilling and unique creating our very own work of art on textile was. I then started to explore the world of watercolour painting and designing. My little hobby had turned into more than I could have ever imagined.
The designs and products you will find here are created by hand whether through hand sketches, watercolour or digital paintings to create small batch, handmade items and designs that you will love and cherish.
Florals, nature, and my family have been my inspiration. I love experimenting with different palettes; bright, joyful, earthy, or vintage. I am most drawn to creating patterns for textile and apparel while having a soft spot for stationery and home decor items.
I love my little family and most of all, serving God the best we can. Other than having only 4 children and myriad of hobbies which keep me busy, I am content being a homebody at heart. :)
